The AAUW Fund was orignally called the Educational Opportunities Fund.  For many years, AAUW Branches around the country were encouraged to give money to our national AAUW to establish endowments for grants and fellowships to women for education, research and community programs. Those endowed funds still exist, producing interest each year, and allowing AAUW to award more than $3.7 million in funding to 250 women in the 2017-18 academic year.  AAUW Redlands Branch established three endowed fellowships during our 70 years: a $100,000 American Fellowship Endowment, a $35,000 Bernice Black Johndrew Research adn Projects Grant Endowment, and a $100,000 International Fellowship Endowment. Learn More…

Legal Advocacy

AAUW Legal Advocacy supports the protection of legal rights of those who are facing discrimination. LAF provides support to workplace sex discrimination cases and to cases of gender discrimination in educational settings that have the potential to make a difference for all women.  Learn More…

AAUW Public Policy supports advocacy for public policies and laws that are fair to women. The Public Policy Program underscores AAUW’s mission of advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research and speaks to women’s needs, aspirations, and concerns across the life span.  Learn More…

Each year, our branch raises more that $2000 for the AAUW Fund to help advance AAUW’s mission of equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.
